This weekend my friends and I took a little trip down to Tucson to stay at the Westin La Paloma resort. We all have such busy schedules that it is hard to get everyone together. I think we could all agree we needed to get away from every day life just for a day. We drove down there Saturday morning and spent some time by the pool. Then we had a nice dinner at Zona 78 before returning back to the hotel. The plan was to go out on the town but by the time our ride came to pick us up, we were too tired to go out. We are definitely not in our high school days anymore ;) This morning we had a nice breakfast out on the patio...the weather was PERFECT! 72 and breezy. We spent a little more time by the pool before we had to drive home. We had a blast and are going to try and make girls trips a regular thing every few months or so. Can't wait for the next trip!

Take Me Down to the Paradise City...

In about an hour my family and I are off to Hawaii! I am beyond excited. I have never been there before and have only heard great things. I imagine it to be paradise. I can't wait to just lay on the beach and soak up the sun. My skin is looking forward to getting a little bit of color. It will be nice to spend a week with my family and not have to worry about the real world. I have a feeling I am not going to want to come back! I hope everyone has a nice and safe spring break! I will be taking a lot of pictures :)

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!! Valentine's Day has never been a big deal to me...just a Hallmark holiday. I, however, do appreciate it when I am in a relationship. I hope you all get spoiled by your boyfriends/husbands if you have one and if you don't, spoil yourselves :) Indulge in a box of chocolates, chick flicks, a massage...whatever makes you happy!

Fashion Challenged

Lately I have been feeling that I have been a little fashion challenged. I feel that I have some fashion sense, but when I go to put outfits together, it never seems to work for me. I have decided that I would love to have a personal stylist. It is so hard to find clothes that fit my body sometimes, that it would be so nice to have someone that could help me put outfits together. A girl can dream, right?! I did come across a blog that offers styling consultations and they will even take you shopping to help you put outfits together...sounds like a dream come true :) I think I am going to ask for that for my birthday. It would be so much fun! I love to bargain shop too, so I will normally find random things that I love but sometimes have a hard time pairing them with other items. I decided I am going to officially stop buying cold-weather clothes and just focus on spring and summer, since 75% of the year is hot here anyway.

Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day, I will be in San Francisco! I am SO excited. I have never been to this city before but have been wanting to go for a long time. When my boyfriend asked me if I would be interested in going for Valentine's Day, there was no hesitation when I said yes! I have heard many great things about SF and cannot wait to experience it with Jason. We are staying in the Fisherman's Warf district, which I have heard is a great location. Some things I want to do are:

There will definitely be many pictures to follow when we return! The first six months of this year are going to be packed with trips. Exactly a month from today, we are going to be in Maui. In April, my girlfriends and I are escaping for a weekend in Tucson; in May, we will be in Tahoe for Jason's U.S. Open qualifier, and in June will be Vegas for my sister's 21st birthday! Phew...I am going to be busy. I will hopefully find some time in there to work to pay for all of my vacations!

Both of these pictures made me smile today. I was browsing this website and came across them. Not in the market for a nursery or baby any time soon, but loved the colors and decor in this nursery and thought the onesie was SO cute!!
